Description

This Porsche 911E is in really fantastic condition. This Porsche was rebuilt by the current owner with a lot of love and care. Everything has been done and is completely 'matching numbers'. The original 'signal orange' color looks great on her! In 2014 this Porsche came to the Netherlands from the US. The engine is overhauled. This Porsche is guaranteed to be a 'head turner' and is ready to make many more kilometers!

The Porsche 911 (pronounced nine-eleven) is the most famous sports car of the German car manufacturer Porsche. The appearance of the car was designed by Ferdinand "Butzi" Porsche, grandson of Ferdinand Porsche, the founder of the Porsche brand. The known shape has hardly changed in the last 50 years. Porsche 911E model was produced from 1969 to 1973. The 911E replaced the 911L that stands for "Luxury". The 911E has been developed for more comfort than the 911S. The 911E is therefore positioned between the 911T (Touring) and the 911S (Super). The E stands for the German "Einspritzung", which means injection. This "mechanical fuel injection, MFI" was developed by Bosch and Porsche. The MFI of this Porsche has been replaced by Webers. The reason for this is that the MFI is difficult and can only be maintained by specialists (2 in NL). This makes this very expensive.

The 911E was supplied as standard with the 'comfort' package: Ventilated brake discs with aluminum calipers, velor carpet, leather-covered steering wheel, heavy bumpers, rubber protective plates and chrome accents.
