Description

The Triumph TR4. An English driver's car with sport DNA, which is part of the TR 1 to TR 8 line. The British were not very original in coming up with the name; TR stands for Triumph Roadster. After the TR3a, Triumph made the audience wait a long time for the successor. Only after the predecessor really did not come along with its direct competitor MG, was the order given to come up with a successor.

The TR4 was given a completely new design that was eventually notified by Giovanni Michelotti. A designer who had proven himself before with the BMW 700 and -1500, several DAFs and the Reliant Scimitar. The TR4 may be mentioned in this list, because it is an elegantly shaped sports car!

Our TR4 is ready to be used for whatever it is intended for; sporty steering. He is therefore in a very original, good condition. The color combination of the 'Old English White' exterior and the (original!) 'Matador Red' interior accentuate the personality of the TR4. A friendly sports car with a spicy character. Technically, the car has been fully checked and has recently been fitted with a new starter motor. In short; a perfect Cool Classic candidate for rallies and other pleasure rides!
