This matching-numbers car was imported in 2013 and is in outstanding restored condition. In 2006, this example scored 91.7% for originality and achieved a 2nd place Flight Award at NCRS in Florida, a testament to the quality and attention to detail of this restoration. Presenting in blemish free Monza Red paintwork and a black leather interior in excellent condition.

The engine bay and undercarriage are spotless, and the soft-top looks near-new. Optioned with power windows, power brakes, heavy-duty suspension and factory tinted glass, this L89 Corvette was at the top end of what was available in 1969.

As an L89 model, the big-block 427cu V8 is factory upgraded with aluminium heads, a Tri- carburettor configuration and an 11:1 compression ratio. Paired to a 3-speed Turbo-Hydramatic gearbox, this engine delivers 435hp to the rear wheels, making this car one of the quickest in its day. During the restoration the engine, gearbox and differential were rebuilt, while the brakes were completely overhauled. This example has been meticulously maintained since then and remains an absolute pleasure to drive.
