Description

The 550 Maranello was launched in July 1996 during a Ferrari gathering at the Nurburgring, where Michael Schumacher and Eddie Irvine could test the new car on track. The Pininfarina design was a combination of current styles, paired with cues from the 456 GT, and classic lines harking back to 60s and 70s models. This combination was an identity in itself, with both aggressive and sleek curves.

All models featured a gated 6-spd transmission, which was used to propel the 485hp 5.5L V12 up to speeds close to 200mph, with 0-60mph being reached in just 4.6 seconds. It was a greatly received car by all, whilst the press sung its praises, winning it countless awards.

This very low mileage RHD model (14800 miles) is UK-supplied and finished in stunning Argento Nurburgring silver, with Nero Hide. It has full documented service history, with a very recent cambelt change and a complete Ferrari service 29 miles ago.
