Description

The Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider is one of the most beautiful small convertibles of the sixties. A fantastic sportscar which combines style and driving pleasure in the very best way possible. Today, this timeless Pininfarina styled spider is still a very desirable machine whose fair beauty has stood the test of time.

This particular car was delivered new in 1964 in the United States, and is an early example with Alfin drumbrakes which is quite a rare feature. It returned to Europe in 1990, and went through a thorough restoration between 1990 and 1992. When finished, the car was registered in Belgium and kept in the same ownership until today. It is a lovely looking car with just the right amount of patina, and with only 7990 km done since the restoration it is still in great condition. This Alfa Romeo is a pleasure to drive with the torquey 1600 cc twin cam engine. An entertaining soundtrack and a great driving position add that little extra to the driving experience. The five speed gearbox shifts easily, and the brakes are still running in as these have just received a complete overhaul.

Values of the Giulia 1600 Spiders are still going up, which is no surprise as it is definitely one of the finest roadsters from the sixties. Sexy looks, a great driving experience and a rock solid investment : this Alfa Romeo has it all.
