Description

"The Maserati 3200GT was styled by Italdesign whose founder and head, Giorgetto Giugiaro, previously designed, amongst others, the Ghibli, Bora and Merak and so certainly had an impressive pedigree. Sold mainly in Europe, the 3200GT shared the twin-turbo, 3.2 litre, V8 featured in the Quattroporte IV and Shamal, revised and tuned to 365bhp. The tail-lights consisted of LEDs arranged in the shape of a boomerang. The outer layer of the 'boomerang' provided the brake light, with the inner layer providing the directional indicator. They changed not long after that to a more conventional cluster thus making these ‘early’ car more desirable. The car on offer was first registered on 5th September 2000 by the supplying dealer Maranello Concessionaires Ltd. of Egham. This extremely low mileage Maserati 3200GT automatic with steering wheel paddle shift has covered a mere 16,539 miles from new. Offered in, the all important, Maserati racing colour scheme of metallic silver with Oxblood leather piped with black. This GT has a full service history which includes a service in the summer of 2015 at 15,408 miles with a full cam belt replacement. Two subsequent services have been completed at HR Owen Maserati in London. Extras on this example include climate control, electric heated memory seats, Alcantara head lining. Accompanying the car are all the original handbooks, service book, a wealth of MoT test history and an MoT test certificate valid until July 2019."
