Description

<![CDATA[Owners: 1Description:ID 19B June 1967, last year with single front light and first year of transition to LHM. This car had in fact one single owner, parked since 1984 and, in 2016, undergone to restoration by a new French buyer, who did not complete it. I bought the car in 2017 and within a year and a half I completed the restoration in Italy, basically after the first owner it has not been driven by others. It's a car that has come to the present day in exceptional condition, probably unique, the inside is entirely original in all its components including its characteristic smell. It has undergone a complete restoration of body, mechanics and hydraulics by professionals, it is worth noting however that despite the known problems of chassis and body of the model, that it was not necessary to make a single welding; the frame and the sheet metal are 100% intact except for the two rubber holders at the bottom of the front doors; for the rest it was not necessary to intervene in anything, everything is still as it was when it left the factory in 1967. The car was stripped off, everything was disassembled including the roof, all repainted in accordance with the original. The colour, gris kandahar ac133, is original from the first painting and the interiors are made of original green cloth, the colour combination is very elegant. The engine has been dismounted and completely overhauled in all its components, new clutch unit, new valve train. Overhauled hp pump, gearbox and connector - the connector has been replaced with the latest version because, as we know, aluminium connectors are problematic, new bearings etc. New exhaust line. Two new Michelin tyres. Nothing has been neglected during restoration, everything has been carried out in compliance with the specifications of the model and preserving everything that was possible in a pure conservative way. Approximately 2000 km driven since the end of the restoration. Probably one of the best 1967 19B IDs still existing. Price adjusted to the exceptional condition of the car and model. The French documents are in my name, I did not service it because I am not in France and I do not know where the car will be brought. The vehicle can be viewed and picked up in Rome, Italy.
