EXTERIOR
The world famous Porsche design 911 in arguably one of its best forms yet – the GT3 RS 4.0. The body on this essentially new 997 is unmarked with a wonderful deep lustre that looks perfect on this very special and hugely desirable Black RS. The paint work is completely original from factory and the car has never seen rain, clear from its spotless underside.

With aerodynamic upgrades, inclusive of flics at the front and a larger spoiler at the rear, downforce becomes a critical attribute to driving characteristics along with hydraulic steering, no rear steer and a race derived engine in its biggest cubic capacity, it is no surprise the limited numbered 4.0 is the pinnacle of modern Porsches for both a driver and the collector.

The adjustable carbon fibre wing, GRP engine cover and lexan rear window contribute to the lightweight theme with even the badge on the bonnet replaced by a sticker.

INTERIOR
Although bearing more than a passing resemblance to the Cup variant with a roll cage, this interior offers all modern day-to-day considerations. With minimal mileage covered it presents and smells as new with an un-touch matt finish throughout. The extended leather option covers the dash board and tops of the door cards in Porsches finest leather adding to the already generous application of black and red alcantara that is carefully combined in the cabin.

The driving position is absolutely spot on with the Carrera GT bucket seats combining sublime levels of road holding with excellent comfort. Front lift and cruise control along with an updated sound package add to the generous spec list with further custom options included such as the alcantara centre console, storage lid, leather steering column and sun visors.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
This is the most powerful naturally aspirated unit that Porsche have ever produced, It fires into life with a menacing growl with that familiar GT3 RS chatter and rattle from the race spec flywheel – aurally similar to it’s RSR stablemate. The supplying Porsche dealer has serviced the car within and above the recommended servicing routine on request of the owner. Under Porsche warranty all of its life and still covered till Jan 2019 for complete peace of mind. ECU data has been analysed in house and presents perfectly with no over revs.

On the ramp the condition of the under carriage is exemplary, it is clear that the car has been garaged all of its life and never seen rain. All components shine with factory stickers and part numbers clearly presented like it was built just yesterday.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The GT wheels painted in silver on this car house yellow calipers and as such signify the optional PCCB brake system all of which remains new.

The lightweight alloys present as new, never refurbished. Still fitted are the original factory Michelin Cup tyres, date stamped to the cars manufacture.

HISTORY FILE
First delivered on 25/08/2011 by Porsche Stuttgart this C00 4.0 RS was ordered by a prolific Japanese Porsche enthusiast. Specified with factory collection it was then shipped to Japan by the Porsche Main Dealer Shikoku who have serviced and carried out any warranty recalls throughout its life.

It has been under Porsche warranty program since manufacture and remains under worldwide cover until January 2019 at which point it can be extended. All warranty recalls, servicing and the cars mollycoddled life is documented on the Porsche internal system.

The original owners books and leather wallet are present and correct along with the spare key.
