Description

Guide price: £28000 - £32000. • A UK-supplied, right-hand drive, S50-engined car (E36 M3 321bhp)•Finished in Estoril Blue Metallic with an Estoril Blue and Black Nappa interior•Well serviced and maintained throughout. One previous owner and just over 64,000 miles•Supplied with a UK V5c and MoT tested until July ‘19 Very much an oddball and all the better for it, the Z3 M Coupe follows no model lineage and wasn't replaced when production ceased, but what a wonderful hiccup in the corporate product line this car was. The M Coupé housed the fabulous straight six engine from the M3 in a smaller body based upon the two-seat Z3. There were three distinct iterations of the Z3M Coupe made for the UK market over the model's short life. Until April 1999 the car was referred to as the S50 pre-facelift, between April '99 and 2001 it's known as the S50 post-facelift, and the rarest of the three was built between 2001 and 2002 and is known as the S54 facelift car.The main distinguishing feature is the engine used. The S50 engined car (321 bhp) was built between 1998 and 2001 using motive power from the E36 M3 and the later S54 engined model (325bhp) was manufactured between 2001 and 2002 and adopted the power unit from the E46 M3. Apart from the engine, the main differences between models are the drive by wire throttle, DSC system, and externally, shadow chrome wheels.Offered here is a, 2000 year, UK, right-hand drive, S50-engined Z3M Coupe which was first registered to BMW Cooper Ipswich in March of that year, before being purchased by its only private owner in April 2000. Finished in Estoril Blue with a two-tone blue/black interior the specification includes; Sports seats, air conditioning, M-Sport steering wheel, diff lock and a heated door mirror & driver’s lock. Incredibly, this car has seen the workshops of BMW main dealers no less than 9 times, as recorded in the service book, with a final service completed by a specialist in July of this year. Accompanied by a raft of invoices, a UK V5c and an MoT until 23rd July 2019, this car has now covered 64,151 miles, is fast becoming a future classic, and would make a shrewd purchase now while they are still available in this condition.  .
