Description

In 2012, Ford introduced a new Mustang variant to bridge the gap between the Boss 302 and the track-only 302R and 302S. Named after one of America’s legendary racing circuits, the Laguna Seca Edition combined the Boss 302’s 444 hp V-8 with a much stiffer chassis, aided by a new X-brace that replaced the rear seats. Ford Racing brake ducts, Recaro sport seats, a Torsen limited-slip differential, and aerodynamically tweaked bodywork contributed to blistering performance, including a 4.2-second 0–60 mph acceleration time, and a top speed of 165 mph.

Believed to be the 677th of 747 examples built, this pristine Laguna Seca Edition has accrued less than 350 miles from new and retains the full complement of factory-delivered accessories. Documented with the original window sticker, factory letters, and a certificate of authenticity, the rare limited-edition Ford should strike the fancy of any Mustang enthusiast.

Moreover, the consignor has pledged that his proceeds from the sale of this Laguna Seca Edition will be donated to the US Olympic Committee (USOC), the nonprofit organization that supports the training of American athletes. One of only four such committees that manage Paralympic programs, the USOC assists thousands of children and injured US service members and veterans throughout the nation. The USOC’s efforts to promote sportsmanship and community will also benefit from the sale of this special Mustang.
