Even Fender, which boasts one of the strongest heritages in the music world, has built some questionable retro interpretations over the years, such as the Road Worn series, in which new top-of-the-line guitars were given a faux ageing treatment in an attempt to recreate the axes of legendary musicians. All is forgiven with the introduction of the American Professional Series, however, which couples the latest technology with clean vintage aesthetics across a range of guitars and basses, including the Stratocaster and Telecaster.
