Omega, case No. 8865980. Made in the 1930's.
Fine and unusual, rectangular, water-resistant, stainless steel Staybrite wristwatch with a
special slide-out feature to secure the case to be water-resistant (Swiss Pat. No. 146310).
Three-body, polished and brushed, bezel with horizontal bars, on the case back, a
mobile hook to lock the inner and outer case parts together, flat top crystal.
Matte silver with black painted Arabic numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel
lozenge hands.
Cal. 19.4, rhodium-plated, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic
balance, flat balance spring.
