Have Mercedes and Porsche finally dropped swords?

Planning a trip to Stuttgart? Now when you visit either the Porsche or Mercedes-Benz museums, you get 25% off the ticket price of the other. Killing two birds with one stone has never been more tempting…

The scheme has been devised to encourage tourists to visit both the spectacular museums, which for automotive enthusiasts should rank among Stuttgart’s must-visit attractions. Furthermore, Mercedes has lent Porsche a mid-1990s W111 230 S, while a 1975 911 Carrera 2.7 will call the Mercedes Museum home for the next few months. The illustrious German marques might be at war in the showrooms and on the racetracks in the fiercely contested GT3 series, but we admire that both are keen to promote their long and rich histories.
