Bentley takes Savile Row to America

As part of the exclusive ‘Savile Row and America: A Sartorial Special Relationship’ exhibition, held just last week at the British Embassy in Washington D.C., Bentley invited four of the world-famous sartorial street’s distinguished tailors to reinterpret the classic driving jacket…

Devil in the detail

Bentley and Savile Row – both seemingly as old as the hills, but arguably two of the last words in British, bespoke luxury and craftsmanship. And motoring and fashion have more in common than you might think. The tailors selected – Henry Poole, Huntsman, Gieves and Hawkes, and Dege & Skinner – are hallmarks of Savile Row, renowned for their sartorial excellence. The ideal candidates, then, to put their own, modern (Bentley-inspired) twists on a staple of the classic driver’s wardrobe.
