Rolls-Royce cherry blossoms to bloom in Geneva

For centuries, silk has been one of the most valuable materials, symbolising regal and imperial power – yet, for some reason, it seldom appears in luxury cars. However, Rolls-Royce’s bespoke team has found a fitting application, and will unveil the result at the Geneva Motor Show…

Inspired by "contemporary interpretations of European furniture combined with Japanese Royal Kimono designs", the Roller boasts silk blossom headlining, along with mother-of-pearl inserts in the wood panelling and bespoke dials. Christened ‘Serenity’, the one-off car will be revealed at the Geneva Motor Show on 3 March.
