RM Auctions to sell off the Andrews Collection in Texas

At the end of April in Fort Worth, Texas, RM Auctions will put numerous cars and associated collectables from the Andrews Collection under the hammer. The father-and-son duo have decided to sell the majority of the collection in order to dedicate more time to the remainder…

Three highlights

Of the 75 cars that make up the lotlist, three stand out as highlights: a 1935 Duesenberg Model SJ Town Car first owned by candy-making heiress and horse-racing legend Ethel V. Mars; a 1962 Ferrari 400 Superamerica SWB convertible (the 1962 Geneva Salon and New York Motor Show car); and an authentic 1962 Shelby Cobra 289 Competition. The latter, chassis CSX 2011, was the first racing Cobra sold to the public, and is one of only three factory Competition examples.
