'One man's trash...' The automotive discoveries of Brewster Moseley

Pebble Beach once again demonstrated just how ‘clean’ a classic car can be, but Idaho-based photographer Brewster Moseley scours junkyards to seek out the very opposite: corroding remnants of automotive decay…

Doing so has been Moseley’s hobby for several years now. He’s particularly fascinated by “beautiful elements such as hood ornaments and abstract designs created by rusting paint and, occasionally, mangled metal”. Sharing this poignant imagery from the salvage yards of Idaho and Montana is one of his favourite pastimes, so do take a look through the extensive gallery above.
