It was in October 1959 that the Mk II Jaguar appeared, making a good car, the Mk1, even better. Similar in appearance but with a much larger glass area, it boasted a wider rear track to improve road holding together with minor front suspension changes to reduce body roll and all round disc rather than drum brakes.
Engine options included the 120bhp 2.4 litre, the 210bhp 3.4 litre. The ultimate engine came with the 220bhp 3,781cc unit that provided the impressive performance figures of 0-60 mph in 8.5 seconds and a top speed of 125 mph.
This Mk II 3.8 has had three previous owners from new and is supplied with a fresh MoT and current V5 registration document. The current owner describes the vehicle as in excellent working order, as it has been subject to sympathetic upgr
