Saturday 10th January 2009

2009 celebrates 40 years of Ford’s iconic Capri model so it is highly appropriate
that we offer, at Autosport International, this potent and successful historic racing
Ford Capri 3.0S. ‘Quick Brew’ (the nickname this important Capri is known by), is
perhaps the most familiar of all the Ford Capri’s racing in the ‘70s Group 1 Historic
Touring Car category today. Immortalised in miniature as a collectors’ model by
Corgi in their respected ‘Drive Time’ range (Ref: VA 10801), this iconic car has won
invitations to the prestigious 2008 Goodwood Festival of Speed (where it was driven
throughout the event by Lord March’s daughter, Lady Alexandra Gordon Lennox, in
a most spirited manner up the daunting hillclimb) and the BTCC 50th Anniversary
meeting at Silvers
