Arnage, as many will know, is a right-hand corner two thirds of a lap round the Le Mans circuit, a track where Bentley famously enjoyed five victories from 1924 to 1930. Red Label refers to the background colour of the eminent winged-B radiator badge first seen on Bentley 3 Litres of the period. In the past, green, black and blue labels adorned more formal, less sporting Bentleys, but red denoted the ultimate in performance.
The Arnage Red Label has moved on a stage from its predecessor the Turbo R, thanks in no small part to the technological input from new owner BMW.
