This immaculate Lotus Elan has covered just 10,000 km approx since it underwent a total, no expense spared restoration project. During this time, the engine was rebuilt, bored and tuned to 1760cc with a compression ratio of 10.2 : 1, the car received a racing crankshaft, sport pistons, a powermax Hepolithe Lotus big valve cylinder head and 45 DCOE Weber carburetors. Sprint camshafts, an alloy radiator, an electric water pump, special exhaust manifold, lightened flywheel and aluminium front brakes were also fitted to further enhance its specification, making this a particularly quick Elan.
