Thanks to efficient aerodynamics, sporting handling and fine build quality, the 356 quickly established itself as a worthy competition car and it achieved success in such top events as Le Mans, the Mille Miglia, Targa Florio and Carrera Panamericana, as well as countless other races and rallies around the world.
This early 356A Coupe was manufactured on the 1st October 1959 and is supplied with an enviable race history dating back to 1960 where the first owner campaigned the car extensively throughout 1960 to 1962, with a podium finish at the SCCA national run offs in 1962.
Subsequently the car passed to its second owner where it was restored in 1987 and upon completion entered into the Grand Prix of Dallas with a successful 3rd in class finish. Further results included a
