$6.6m for the California Spider Prototype at Gooding's $115m sale

It was the very first one, a car that started the line of super-desirable, potent Ferraris called 'California Spider'.

The 1957 car sold for $6.6m (hammer price, ex. buyer's premium) on the final day of Gooding & Company's 2012, Pebble Beach-week auction which grossed $115 million.
