1968 Volkswagen Type 2 Single Cab pickup truck, S/N 268164301, Black with deep red interior and accents. Built by Liberty Motorsports circa 2014 to be the shop truck and parts runner. It was flawless at its daily commute, hauling parts and engines and giving the driver a big smile everytime behind the wheel. Upgrades include: new balanced and blueprinted EMPI 2.2 liter motor, front disc brakes, aluminum diamond plate truckbed liner, Lucas Flamethrower driving lamps and custom dual exhausts poking out under the rear bumper. The custom interior has been upgraded with interior fan, boost fan for heater, very cool correct looking bespoke tachometer and a garmin gps. The “Porsche” script on the bed are decals and can be easily removed. This Type 2, sounds serious (about 150hp), drives wonderfully and can actually do work. Perfect for: shop truck, vineyard hauler, track support vehicle, antiquing or anything that you can imagine. It also gets more thumbs up than a Lamborghini!
