Description

In the very beginning of ‘50 Volkswagen decided to create a “sport car” using the mechanic frame of the Bettle. So in 1953 Volkswagen came out with the “Ghia”, during the Paris Motor Show, a prototipe variation of the already known Bettle. Karmann saw the car during the event and decided to begin the production immediately. The official car came out 3 years later with the name of Karmann-Ghia. The car had a great success, considered as a “356’s sister”, for similarity in mechanic. This wonderful specimen is a 1° series with minor tail-light, bi-color painting and a classic 1.200 cc engine. This Karmann Ghia has been restored in all its aspects. The car has been certified with the “ASI Certification”, its original documents and license plate.!
