Description

"Royal Enfield is a brand with the tag of 'the oldest global motorcycle brand in continuous production'. First produced in 1901, Royal Enfield is the oldest motorcycle brand in the world still in production with the Bullet model enjoying the longest motorcycle production run of all time. During the period that Royal Enfield closed production (the mid to late 1960s), so many parts had been manufactured in Redditch that they continued to build bikes. Some of the parts were shipped to India where a number of bikes were assembled using the parts manufactured in the UK, it is believed that this bike is derived from this time, although maybe not assembled by Royal Enfield in the UK, the parts used to assemble the bike were manufactured by Royal Enfield in the UK. This specific motorcycle was used as the catalogue or demonstrator bike and has been standing in a warehouse ever since.First manufactured in January 1977, this trials variation is a single-seater 350cc and presents in very good condition. Imported in 2018, it was then totally restored to a fully working condition. VOSA and the DVLA were supplied with sufficient documentary information for them to certify the year of manufacture before registering the bike for use in the UK. This is a machine with ample chromework and is exempt from an MoT test certificate and road tax. With light use since a rebuild the odometer reads just 39 miles. This is a great looking bike offered without reserve.

The health and safety of both our customers and team remains the utmost priority, we are therefore operating to Government guidelines throughout viewing and auction day."
