In 1977, the Corniche was slightly reworked into the Corniche II. The chromed fenders were replaced with an alloy with rubber, the radiator grille with an aluminium one, oil cooling was added and the European and Middle East models got ABS. From 1982 the coupé version disappeared and the Corniche was only available as a convertible. In Europe, some safety measures were needed, including a modified bonnet and a retractable Flying Lady. This beautiful specimen is originally from the USA, Florida. 1,226 of this type were built. The Corniche II reaches a top speed of 200 km/h with a weight of more than 2.3 tons.

The car is equipped with a 6750 cc V8 engine coupled to a three-speed gearbox and an optional fuel injection from Robert Bosch GmbH.
