Description

This special Rolls-Royce 20/25 with its chassis number GLG51 started life as a four door all weather saloon by Park Ward in 1935. Later, the noble Britt was shipped to the USA where, many years ago, it was converted to the current 8-seater station using a wooden frame and turning the car into a classic “woody”. Rolls-Royce specialist Frank Cook overhauled the engine many years ago and, in 1991, the car was imported into Switzerland. Here the Shooting Brake was taken over by a Rolls-Royce enthusiast and used for occasional outings and club meets. Around 14’000 miles ago, the engine received yet another overhaul and in 2022 the gearbox with its rare overdrive received a new clutch. Currently this unique Shooting Brake is in good to very good condition with the coachwork showing some age correct signs of use and the red leather interior presenting absolutely beautifully. The 20/25 yet holds expired English as well as American documents at the most recent veteran MOT was completed in October 2019.
