When did you last see a Renault 4 convertible? I guess not very often as the were nor standard issue by Renault. This is a handbuilt soft-top conversion. The base came from an originally Dutch supplied Renault 4. It has been owned by the same person since 1999. Being a Renault expert himself he took charge of the conversion. The conversion was expertly carried out. The car remained at his house in the South of France for a long time and could you imagine any other French car better fitting such a holiday home?

The car has been very well maintained over the years. All its maintenance as well as the conversion were done by the previous owner, the result of which is to his credit. The bodywork has good panelwork, the paintwork is in good shape and the roll-bar has been correctly mounted. The engine runs perfectly and the interior trim has been very well looked after. The car was sparingly driven and as such has had a fairly easy life. As it was never used when raining, sir did not feel the need to fabricate a hood, so none is supplied.
