Singer Vehicle Design was founded in 2009 to both preserve and optimize the famed air-cooled Porsche 911. The 964 model Porsche became the perfect foundation for Singer's work possessing the ideal combination of classic air-cooled Porsche traits combined with a sophisticated footing in the vital areas of the vehicle's dynamics. Inspiration is taken from the classic road racing era of the Porsche during the 1970's and can be seen in almost every detail around the car including the 'Butzi Porsche-inspired bodywork.

This example is fitter with the later, revised 4.0 litre powerplant producing 400 hp. Thanks to extensive use of carbon fibre for the majority of the body, the Singer weighs nearly 200kg less than a donor 964 Carrera 2, tipping the scales at just 1100kg all in. This example features the upgraded 6-speed gearbox.

This example is optioned in Singer Racing White with ghosted Light Blue stripes and Dark Blue script and matching wheels. The interior sees swathes of elegant Dark Blue Alcantara, covering the lightweight bucket seats, centre console and armrests. The seat inserts, dashboard and door cards benefit from the upgraded woven leather.

Additionally optioned are both the upgraded Brembo 'Big Red' brake package, along with the upgraded Ohlins dampers; this car performs and rides as you would expect. 

Originally converted from a 1991 Porsche 964, the works on this car were carried out between January and July in 2015. The car returned to the UK around Christmas 2015 and was first revealed at the Goodwood Festival of Speed the following year. It remained with its commissioning owner for around 4 years, used very sparingly. To this day, this Singer retains its original city designation - the Newcastle commission. 

Today this fantastic RHD Singer presents with just 1,155 Miles since its reimagination and is currently available to view at our showrooms outside London immediately.
