Description

This is my 1972 911S, which is fully restored, looks wonderful and drives beautifully. Buy a car which has had all the work done - £128,000 spent!

Original restoration was in 2009 and then further extensive works including engine and gearbox rebuild in 2014, since which it has done 5,000 km. Engine dyno at 214bhp, this car has respectable speed. Uprated brakes (you don't want to be the slowest to stop on the autoroute) but the originals supplied with the car. Rensport performance shifter (gives precise spring-loaded shifts from the 915 box), again original included. Interior in very good condition. Period Blaupunkt radio has audio jack added. The car currently has period correct replacement seats fitted (pictured, which are more comfortable than the originals) but the original b&w houndstooth pattern ones will be supplied as well. Also fitted is the smaller diameter steering wheel which gives room for knees under the rim but original also provided. I fitted the spotlights recently, they are period correct and very bright for night driving. Can be easily taken off.

Full details available including restoration invoices and loads more pictures. Matching engine numbers. Speedometer now reads 39,000km, and I have documentation in 2002 at 31,000km. Cannot verify before then, but we do know very little mileage since all the refurbishment works. Spare wheel, jack and tool kit all present. This is the year with the oil flap, the higher capacity/power 2.4 engine and the better/stronger 915 gearbox.
