The Porsche 911 is the best known sports car by Porsche. The look of the car was designed by Ferdinand “Butzi” Porsche, the grandson of Ferdinand Porsche (founder of the brand Porsche). The well-known shape has barely changed in the past 50 years.

Porsche introduced an open top version of the 911 in 1967.

Named after the company's successive victories in the famous Sicilian road race, the Targa featured a stainless steel roll bar, a removable roof panel and a fold-away plastic rear window for an outdoor experience.
