French title Engine n° 63K04194 - Less than 1,000 km from new, almost new condition ! - Rare, exclusive model with great performance Ordered new, personally, by the Porsche dealer in Illzach near Mulhouse, this Speedster 911 stayed on display in the showroom until 2012, unregistered and practically un-driven. The service book notes a service at Porsche Stuttgart in 2008 when the car had covered 399 km, and another at Porsche Lörrach in 2012, at 654 km. In 2012 the dealer sold this Speedster to its current owner, and it was registered for the first time, on 27 December 2012. In addition to the documents that were sold with the car, the dealer also supplied a declaration on honour confirming its original mileage. When we inspected the car, the odometer read just 917 km ! Presented in red, this lovely Speedster has original air-conditioning, black leather Sport seats and limited-slip differential. It has benefitted from a new coat of paint to retain its shine and to rectify minor blemishes resulting from 20 years of being on show. Everything else is completely original and in perfect condition, and the underneath is still protected with paraffin. In June 2014 it is serviced at Porsche Nantes and comes with stamped service book, owner's manual, toolkit and original electric tyre pump. The Speedster 911 was the ultimate version of the Carrera 3.2, only produced in 1989, before the launch in 1990 of the third generation of the famous rear-engined Porsche. It has a strong personality harking back to the pared-down sporty styling of the first Speedster 356. The dashboard is identical to the one on the Carrera, but the Speedster has a low windscreen and lighter, un-lined hood that disappears under a double-humped shape in the body. On the interior, it has wind-up windows and the seats are manually adjustable. The Turbo-Look version had wide wheel arches and elements of the suspension from the 911 Turbo. The Speedster had a planned limited production of just over 2000 examples, and is therefore particularly rare and exclusive. The example on offer is even rarer for having covered less than 1,000 km from new. It is without a doubt an exceptional car.
