The Porsche 930 Turbo is one of the ultimate ‘poster cars’ for sports car enthusiasts across the globe and is one of the most usable, collectable and iconic classics. The most desirable and more importantly driveable version of the 930 series was the 1988-9 model. This is because it featured the G50 5 speed gearbox which radically improved the driveability of the car over the earlier 4 speed variants and could handle the increased power.
This particular example is one of those last year production 930 Turbos with the G50 gearbox and was supplied in December 1988 to Charles Follet Ltd via AFN. Originally supplied in Guards Red with Black Carpet, Red Electric Heated Sports Seats (L and R), Sunroof, LSD, Higher Ampage Battery and 3 point rear belts.
The car is still painted in it's original colour of Guards Red but in 2018 the car was professionally wrapped by Totally Dynamic in the striking colour of Suzuka Grey which the 930 body wears so well. In addition the car has had a number of performance based modification professionally installed. These include a Koleln Racing Turbo conversion to increase power to 400bhp, as well as this the Brembo Big Red Brake Conversion has been added and the car wears the gorgeous Ruf alloy wheels fitted with new Pirelli P Zero's.
This 930 has always been well maintained and comes with a full service history of well know names and also large file with invoices for work carried out during it's entire life. The car retains it's original spare wheel, compressor, tool kit and books including the leather bound owners manual and service book with stamps and 2 keys.
