Known history
VIN 911 360 1083

The Porsche 911 is certainly one of the most iconic cars in motoring, which still retains its traits since its inception.
All RS versions are special but the 1973 version is certainly the most popular.

This car was sold new in France by the distributor Sonauto in May 1973.
Built to specification M471 with the optional 220 lightweight package, limited slip differential and in its classic pale yellow.

The first owner, a gentleman driver named Francis Roussely, managed to secure a sponsorship from the Sonauto team and BP for the 1973 season, when he also rode the Tour de France.

In 1974 he sold the car to Jean Louis Philippe, another gentleman driver who raced in various rallies during the same year and in 1975.
After ceasing his racing career he kept the car and used it as a road car for daily use.
The car was also fortunate to never have been modified or converted to the G model, which was often the case at the time.

Its last French owner is a legend of the famous Le Mans 24H race, Guy Chasseuil, who raced twelve.
During the period it belonged to the latter, the car was white in color, until its original 1973 Tour de France livery was restored when commissioning the restoration.

In 2012 the car went across the Channel to Frank Sytner, who sold it shortly after to Ron Hing who kept it until 2016.
Mr. Hing had several jobs done on the car and even the 1973 livery was restored with greater care and quality; a new FIA technical passport was issued, expiring in 2025.

It passes through Belgium, to then arrive in Italy by the current owner, where it becomes part of an important collection.

The car has been checked by various experts: the chassis numbers and the secret number have been checked with special tools.

At the moment the fitted engine, very powerful, is not its original, as the appropriate block is under restoration and will be delivered with the car.
