The Touring name was first used in 1973 on the legendary 2.7RS, offering all the performance of the model but in slightly more discreet and practical package. Revised for the 991 model, the Touring is a 911 GT3 with the removal of the large rear wing, no option for roll cages, and some additional create comforts added. Only available with a 6-speed manual transmission, GT3 Tourings have fast found their way into the hands of devoted enthusiasts and collectors alike who recognise the allure of performance without the extra appendages. Featuring the same 4.0 litre flat-six engine as the track focused model, that redlines at 9000 rpm and produces 500 bhp, the Touring is a potent mix of performance and comfort, discreetly executed.
