It was in 1974 that the displacement of the 911 went up to 2.7L with the "Type G", equipped with new billowy bumpers. Depending on the version, the power went up from 150 to 210bhp. The Carrera 2.7 was powered by the engine type 911/83 with Bosch mechanical injection and developing 210bhp, the same as the famous Carrera RS of 1973. 1,633 coupes would be made and only 630 Targas, which makes it a rather small production run for Porsche. Our car is European in specs, it was delivered new in Germany on January 10, 1974. Its French history began in 1989 when its previous owner acquired the car. The car was completely restored in the early 1990s with a complete disassembly of the body, in all likelihood by a Porsche specialist. Photos with the various restoration stages make it possible to evaluate the work carried out. The current owner bought the car in 2010. He owns other Porsches, but was looking specifically for this model. The car has had just two owners for 27 years. It is only used occasionally but regularly, is in a good state of presentation and drives well, proof of the high quality of its older restoration. It has recently undergone a general service and overhaul of the braking system. Its red color, Fuchs rims and Turbo spoiler reinforce the car's sporty look. The interior features black leather. This car with its legendary engine offers exceptional performance, and in a Targa configuration it is even rarer.
