"The Porsche 911 shape and engineering methodology has not changed much since the very first model, the 1939 Series 64. It has proved reliable and, with the finest designers available, has grown in reputation according to developing trends around it. It has proved itself in motorsport just as it has on the French Riviera. In recent years, Porsche breathed life into a new generation of 911, the 996. 2004 saw the launch of the 997 with improved styling, larger 18” wheels and an increase in power. The 997 Carrera 4S was, and still is, widely regarded as the greatest non-turbo version of the 911 with the four-wheel drive system providing the grip that ensured stable handling and predictable cornering.
Originally registered on 6th December 2011, this Porsche Carrera 4S presents in beautiful condition and has clearly been exceptionally well cared for throughout its life on British roads. The service history is comprehensive with services carried out in December 2013, December 2015, December 2017, July 2020 and May 2022. These have been carried out by Porsche main dealers and recognised marque specialists. The service books and receipts confirm the work carried out. In August 2021 the paintwork was ceramic coated, and the wheels refurbished in October 2021. More importantly a new Porsche roof was fitted in August 2021, with the PCM maps upgraded just a few weeks earlier.
