Hexagon Classics are delighted to offer this low mileage 997 GTS, which looks beautiful in its launch livery. The Porsche 911 has captivated drivers for 50 years, and this extremely-well equipped Porsche 997 GTS Coupe PDK is no exception. It boasts a large factory specification including several Porsche Exclusive Dep’t optional extras.

The Porsche 911 (997) Carrera GTS, has the potential to be the best all-round 911 yet.  An engine upgrade boosted power and torque and it used the more seductive wide body from the four-wheel drive models; and featured a whole host of other options.  A special intake manifold, with six rather than one single flap, switched between power and torque-optimised maps.  Thus, the output of the 3.8-litre flat six was raised from 380 BHP at 6500 rpm to 408 HP at 7300rpm, and although the torque figure remained at 311 lb/ft, it is produced at 200 rpm lower.

The 408 BHP Porsche 997 GTS blended the very best of the sports models in the Carrera range with the equipment level of the luxury derivatives. The widebody GTS combines the high performance of the track-inspired models with an everyday sportiness. With more power, and solid road holding, the GTS provides the best combination of power and handling.

EVO magazine commented, “It’s a cracking drive too, for the combination of tweaked motor, wide-track chassis and fat rear tyres gives the GTS a subtly different feel to the narrower rear-drive Carrera S. You can sense its broad-shouldered stance and self-assured hold of the road, but it’s less full-on than a GT3, with a more rounded ride and greater isolation from road and tyre noise. It’s hard to imagine a 911 that strikes a better balance of being the consummate weekday worker and thrilling weekend warrior.”

These 997 GTS coupes are increasing in their collectability, and great, low-mileage examples are now difficult to source.  Supplied new by Porsche Centre Mid-Sussex in June 2011, it has a full service history, original handbook pack and spare keys.  The GTS will also be supplied with a 12 comprehensive -month warranty package.  Available to view now at our London showrooms.
