--Bali Blue with Tan interior, Tan German Square Weave carpeting, Tan canvas top, 4-speed manual transmission, Superb photo documented ground up restoration, Matching Numbers, Porsche Certificate of Authenticity.

The 356 is widely regarded as one of the most enduring postwar sporting models. Late model upgrades such as Disc Brakes and a 75 horsepower 1600cc engine with dual Solex carburetors, made the C iteration the ultimate modern 356 model. Many styling and mechanical cues were carried over to the soon to arrive 911 model, leaving the 356 C models affectionately known as “genesis” cars.

This late production Reutter 356 was delivered October 22, 1964 with the following options: Antenna, 2 Pair Safety Belts, 2 Loudspeakers, Koni Shock absorbers, Dunlop tires and was delivered to Mr. Bill Pickens of Honolulu, Hawaii where it remained until 1982. It was subsequently acquired by a San Diego, California collector, where it remained until 1986. Sold on to Jeffrey Bradley from 1986-2007 and from 2007-2017 to a Massachusetts resident.

This 356 was the recipient of a no expense spared, bare metal restoration in 2005 by marque specialists, Personal Autohaus, Inc. in San Diego, Ca. where all correct factory OEM finishes were utilized. It has been painted in its original paint code 6142, Bali Blue. The engine was completely rebuilt, transmission refreshed with new bearings and synchros, with the addition of a tall option 4th gear, making the car a pleasure to drive at highway speeds. A full new Tan leather interior was installed, as was the new German Canvas top, boot cover, clock and instruments restored, Nardi steering wheel installed.

This 356 presents and drives to a superb standard today and will be sold with accompanying books, manuals, original restored jack and spare, exhaustive binder of receipts and records through various ownerships as well as a full photo documentation of the restoration.
