This Porsche 356 C coup‚ was sold new in the Netherlands and for the last twenty years, has remained in the hands of two well-known members of the Porsche 356 Club Holland. The car benefitted from a full service in February 2014 and the file includes recent invoices totalling over ?3,000. According to the owner, the engine runs well, the gearbox is smooth and the brakes have been refurbished recently. Presented in black, the bodywork is very correct and the interior has also been well preserved. The dashboard features a clock and a period radio with mechanically preset stations.
This 356 C represents the final evolution of the 356, fitted here with a 75 bhp engine, and the highly evolved T6 body, distinguished by the larger front boot with less rounded lid, and a twin rear grille. The windscreen and rear window also benefitted from an increase in size. Highly accomplished, this version of the 356 offers a performance and reliability that allows this sporty coup‚ to be driven easily and enjoyably in modern traffic.
