French registration - The iconic muscle car - Completely restored - Rare version 428 One feature of this particular Pontiac GTO is that it has the 428 engine (7-liters), which was subsequently fitted with a "Royal Bobcat" kit. The latter, originally planned for the 389 engines had been developed by a Pontiac dealer based in Royal Oak, Michigan. This car has been completely restored, with a proper bare chassis-off job. It is equipped with a four -speed manual gearbox, Rally II wheels with LDC covers, a Hurst shifter, power steering, dual Flowmaster exhaust system, electronic ignition, a Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor, chrome rocker cover, etc. The interior is immaculate and the dashboard, equipped with a radio, is in superb condition. Under the hood, the cleanliness is exemplary and, outside, the body is very beautiful with its white stripes. The Pontiac GTO is emblematic of the era of the "muscle cars", the 1964 version is often considered the first of its kind, born out of a marriage of a mid-sized car with a high-powered engine. The 1969 model is a perfect example, and can provide stormy speeding up in the thunder of its V8.
