The model we are offering for sale is a 1973 Peugeot 304 S convertible, bought new by its current owner, so it is a real first hand showing only 78,000 km, all in original condition. Purchased 16,610 Francs in January 1973 at the Rouen Peugeot dealership (supporting original purchase invoice) it was used first as an everyday car and then as a secondary car by the owner. Always maintained and parked in a dry place, the convertible has a beautiful patina that has not been restored, it retains its original paint (Alaska white) as well as its chocolate-colored upholstery. Following the appearance of non-perforating corrosion on the underpinnings and rear wheel arches, treatment, cleaning and anti-chipping were carried out. A slight play in the rear axle will have to be controlled while a revision of the wiper system is expected, this car nevertheless maintains excellent road handling and still promises real driving pleasure 50 years later.
This beautiful 304 S convertible will be sold with many period accessories (bulbs, luggage racks) as well as all of its documents (user manual, purchase receipt).
