Description

1941 Packard One-Twenty “120” Deluxe Station Wagon, model # 1901. Dark Green with pistachio leather interior. Inline 8 cylinder engine with 3 speed manual transmission with overdrive. Sold new from T. B. McGuire, the Packard dealership in Bergen, NJ on May 23, 1941. The original bill of sale comes with the car as well as service receipts from the late 40’s, early 50’s from Westport, CT Packard agency. This special and very rare Packard has been totally restored by a Packard specialist in the 90’s and when finished, it began its show winning career, winning National First Prize at the 1996 AACA show and the Grand National Winner, 1st prize, in 1998. Today is presents much like it did in 1941 (or in 1998), wonderful woodwork, chrome, interior and engine bay look & feel like it was just recently restored. More important than the looks, is how it drives and the caretaker for the past decade and a half, will only own a showcar if it can also perform. This 120 Woodie has been on many tours over the years and was just serviced by local Packard specialist, Custom Auto Service in Santa Ana, CA. The perfect Packard to own: very rare Woodie wagon, 8 cylinder 120 chassis, supremely drivable and a show winner…it is now ready to roll in its eightieth year, grand as ever.
