Description

1953 NY Auto Show display car.
Winner of the NY design award.
Period American race history
Suitable for all Concours and vintage events.

Four Nardi 750 Frua spyders were built. Two with Crosley engines and two with Panhard engines. This car, chassis 953-1, is the first Crosley engined car.

It was shown at the 1953 NY Auto Show where it won the Best Design award.

The car is in need of restoration. It has it's original body and chassis. The engine is a 750cc Crosley with period speed equipment set up for twin down draft webers.

Once restored it will be welcomed at all major concours and vintage car events. None of the four Frua bodied Nardi's has ever been restored, shown or rallied. The new owner of this car will be bringing something new and fresh to the car scene.
