Description

1964 MGB roadster in Tartan red paint with black leather interior trim.

Concours condition, comes with factory hardtop. Sensibly upgraded.

Original early pull handle model MGB from 1964 that has been restored to concours condition from 2007 to 2010. Finished in Tartan red paint and a black leather interior trim with white piping on the seats. A beautiful factory original hardtop in body colour, as well as the original hood, pack-away frame and tonneau cover come with the car.

During the restoration the engine was rebuild to 1860 cc stage 2 specifications with twin 1.75 HS6 carburettors, tubular exhaust manifold, stainless steel big bore sport exhaust, high torque starter and electronic ignition. Furthermore a 7/8 inch anti-roll bar, uprated suspension and brakes, 15 inch painted 72 spoke wire wheels, wooden steering wheel and a main battery switch were fitted.

In 2010 this MGB won its class on the MG Live show in Silverstone. Since restoration this MGB has only driven 3.000 miles and still is in immaculate condition today. An exceptionally gorgeous MGB!
