Description
This white 250 SE Cabriolet – mainly handcrafted – is produced in Stuttgart-Sindelfingen.
Red leather (equipment code 204), as only Mercedes works it, is combined with black soft top fabric and an ivory-coloured steering wheel with an automatic gear selector. This visual symphony is made perfect by the finest chrome elements and a handcrafted “real wood” rosewood dashboard. Acoustically, too, the car is pure joy, giving you a reassuring feeling when you slam the door and listen to the 150 hp six-cylinder engine, which is up to any challenge, even in today’s traffic.
The 250 SE is the last Mercedes model to feature the famous wooden speedometer cover, which was produced with great craftsmanship in the carpenter’s workshop. All wooden parts of the car are in perfect condition.
Since the current ownership, the car was equipped with new automatic safety belts. These have been fitted at the Mercedes Classic Centre in Essen and the car has undergone a complete overhaul with replacement of the fuel injectors and renewal of the brake system.
The 250 was used as a Bandmobile for several Gigs and is now looking for a new journey.
