The Mercedes models were always poorly motorised compared to others available on the American market. That is why Mercedes introduced the 560SL (BM107.048) in 1985. The 5.6L V8 engine (M117E52) produced 227 HP (4,750 rpm) and 366 Nm (4,000 rpm). This 560 model was only available for the American, Australian and Japanese markets.

This Mercedes is equipped with all luxury options such as air conditioning, airbags, power windows, power locks, power steering, cruise control and a third brake light.

This Mercedes is in original condition (the engine and transmission are both original). The car starts immediately, shifts through all gears and brakes properly. The interior is original and is still in neat condition, the blue leather interior looks beautiful with the Diamond Blue paint (colour code 355). Not many Mercedes 560SL were produced in this colour code. The paint is in neat condition except for some minor signs of wear under the hardtop (see photos).

The engine bay looks very fresh and well maintained. The car was always well maintained by the previous owner, recent minor service, the silencer was replaced among other things.
