The Mercedes was purchased in 1996 by the current owner, but this was a disappointing purchase at the time. Unfortunately, the car, which was red at the time, turned out to be very bad. The bottom plate and bottom of the doors were completely rusted away. With the help of a sheet metal worker, new, original, sheet metal parts were inserted everywhere. Then the originally red Benz in the attractive color Mercedes Silver was sprayed. A new fabric cover has been absorbed and later a hardtop has been acquired.
