The Pagoda was built in March 1964 and registered for the first time on the 21st May 1964. Imported into Switzerland in its early years, the 230SL, with its sought-after manual gearbox and hard top spent most of its time in the French part of Switzerland. Taken over by the vendor about 20 years ago, the car has since been dry stored on his premises. The engine is running, and the Mercedes can be driven. The injection pump needs an overall though and the coachwork shows areas of corrosion. The car has a Swiss registry, and the last MOT was completed in June 1997.
